How long does it take for the Cold Cork to freeze?
When completely thawed, the Cold Cork V2 requires 3 hours to thoroughly freeze.

Why does the cork need to be removed before freezing?
The cork contains a small internal airway that can become clogged with ice if stored in the freezer.

Can the Cold Cork be used on sparkling wine or beer?
Unfortunately, no. Carbonation will cause the beverage to freeze in the coil.

Can the Cold Cork be used on pre-chilled wine?
The Cold Cork should not be used on pre-chilled wine because the device may lower the temperature of the wine below its freezing point.

Will the Cold Cork chill an entire bottle of wine?
The Cold Cork can indeed chill a bottle of wine; however, the device's performance decreases with each pour. A completely frozen Cold Cork can chill the first and last glass by about 20 and 10 degrees respectively.

The Cold Cork can lower an entire bottle of red wine to cellar temperature in under 2 minutes! Simply pour the entire bottle through the device and into a decanter.

How can I improve my Cold Cork’s performance?
For best results, once pouring, cover the vent to slow flow. The slower the pour, the colder the beverage will be.

How do I clean my Cold Cork?
1. Remove and rinse the cork. 2. Thaw for 3 hours, then run warm water through the device. 3. Attach the pump and invert the assembly for 1 hour to drain the coil. 4. Pump at least 10 times to ensure the coil is clear.
The Cold Cork and cork are not dishwasher safe. Avoid cleaning frozen devices to ensure water doesn't freeze while cleaning. -
Why won’t my Cold Cork pour?
If bubbles aren’t seen entering the bottle, tip your bottle to a steeper angle.
If your device still won’t pour, use the provided pump to verify the coil is clear. If the coil is clogged, thaw the Cold Cork in a vertical position for 4 hours before clearing with the pump and refreezing horizontally.
To ensure your Cold Cork pours consistently, always:

What is your return policy?
For orders placed through our website - if you are not 100% satisfied with your Cold Cork, the product can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided the product has not been (1) damaged through abuse, misuse or neglect, (2) damaged in an accident, (3) subject to unreasonable use or used for any purpose not expressly stated in the product manual, or (4) repaired or altered in any way.
To initiate a return on a Cold Cork purchased through our website, click "Return" on the website footer and then:
1. Log in to your account by entering the email address used when purchasing your Cold Cork.
2. Open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
4. Select the order that you want to submit the return for. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
5. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
6. Click "Request Return".
If your return request is approved, you receive an email with shipping instructions. Once the product is shipped, please email the tracking information to contact@thecoldcork.com. After the product is received, you will receive a refund.

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the Cold Cork (the "product") for the Warranty Period as defined below.

This limited warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance; (e) modifications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear; or (h) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.
WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE?
This limited warranty starts on the date of your purchase and lasts for one year (the "Warranty Period"). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace the product. We may change the availability of this limited warranty at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.
WHAT ARE YOUR REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY?
With respect to any defective product during the Warranty Period, we will, in our sole discretion, repair or replace such product (or the defective part) free of charge. We will also pay for shipping and handling fees to return the repaired or replacement product to you.
